  2. Get 2 lb ground turkey
  3. Take 1 package breakfast sausage (8 to 10 links)

  6. Take 1 vidalia onion chopped
  7. Make ready 1 can pork and beans
  8. Get 1 cup pearl barley
  9. Take 1 carrot quartered then sliced
  10. Take 1 rib celery chopped
  11. Make ready 1 tsp garlic powder
  12. Make ready 1 tsp marjoram
  13. Get 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning or ground sage

Instructions to make Pale Rider Turkey Chili:
  1. Brown sausages in a frying pan. Remove and cut into 1/3rds.
  2. Add ground turkey, sausage, 2 cans of mushroom soup, black beans, lentils, pork and beans, celery, onion, carrots and all seasonings to slow cooker.
  3. Cook on high for 5 hours.
  4. After 5 hours, add 1 cup of pearl barley to crock pot. Stir. Cover on high.
  5. After an hour, the chili should be thicker since barley will absorb a lot of liquid. Add the 3rd can of cream of mushroom soup to the pot and stir. Cover 15 to 20 min.
