The ingredients needed to make Achari Chana Dal:
  1. Make ready 2 cups Chana dal
  2. Prepare 1 large onion chopped
  3. Get 4 Tomatoes chopped
  4. Get 1/4 cup Oil
  5. Prepare 2 green chillies Chopped or paste
  6. Get 2 tbs Achar ghost masala
  7. Get 1 pinch Kalonji
  8. Get 1 tbs Achar
  9. Get Black pepper half tbs
  10. Get Zeera half tbs
  11. Take to taste Salt
  12. Make ready Chilli flakes half tbs

Steps to make Achari Chana Dal:
  1. Put water in pan and add dal(Previously washed) to boiling water. When fully boiled turn off stove and let it cool down.
  2. In pan add oil, when it become hot add Chopped onion to make it golden in colour.
  3. Then add zeera and stir fry for 1 minute.
  4. Then add Chopped tomatoes and all spices except achar(That will be added at last minutes)
  5. When fully cooked then add boiled dal.
  6. And steam it for 5 minutes, in last add up pickle, mix well then garnish with sliced heart shaped cucumber and Chopped green chillies.
