  1. Take 1 pickled tongue
  2. Get 2 bottles beer
  3. Make ready 4 lemons
  4. Take Water for boiling

Instructions to make Pickled Beef (ox) Tongue:
  1. Put the tongue in a medium sized pot
  2. Add lemon,beer and enough water to cover meat. Boil for 45 minutes.
  3. Take tongue out of the pot and peel skin
  4. Put tongue back into pot and boil on low heat for 1 & ½ hour
  5. When finished remove from the pot and keep the broth for storage.
  6. Cut tongue in half, remove any excess fat. Slice and serve with lemon.
