The ingredients needed to make Oseng-oseng Tempe / Stir-fried Tempe (Vegan):
  1. Make ready 250 g Tempe, cut into small cubes
  2. Get 100 g green chili
  3. Make ready 6 pcs shallots
  4. Take 3 pcs garlic
  5. Prepare 1-2 cm galangal
  6. Get 1 pc tomato (optional)
  7. Prepare 6 tbs or more sweet soy sauce
  8. Take to taste Salt
  9. Take slices Scallions
  10. Prepare Vegetable oil

Steps to make Oseng-oseng Tempe / Stir-fried Tempe (Vegan):
  1. Prepare the pan with some oil to sautè over medium heat
  2. Slice the garlic and shallots, then place it in the hot pan, sautè till fragrant then add the sliced galangal and sliced tomato then let it cook for few seconds
  3. Add the Tempe that you have cut into small pieces, add little water (approx. 10tbs) then cover the pan to let it cooked
  4. Once it's half cooked, add the green chili (slice it as per your liking) add some salt and sweet soy sauce, stir fry to ensure the seasonings, green chili and Tempe are well combined
  5. Add more water if you think it needs more time to cook and cover the pan
  6. Once cooked, add the scallions that you have cut into big slices, stir fry for few seconds then remove from the stove
  7. Your stir-fried Tempe is ready to be served. Enjoy!
