  1. Take 500 g sashimi
  2. Prepare Limu (fermented seaweed)
  3. Make ready Diced avocado
  4. Get Handful cucumber (strips)

  6. Take Omelette strips (optional)
  7. Get Bonito flakes
  8. Take 1 tablespoon Furikake
  9. Get 2-3 bowl cooked Japanese rice
  10. Make ready Seasonings:

  12. Make ready 1/3 cup soy sauce
  13. Get 2 tablespoon sesame oil
  14. Prepare 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Instructions to make Easy Sashimi Poke bowl:
  1. Cook rice while preparing all the other ingredients. Prepare edamame as per usual method (boil edamame for 5mins) and remove the outer skin leaving only the peas.
  2. [Optional] Prepare omelette as per usual method, you may add sugar while mixing the egg for that bit of sweetness. Make sure when frying it's in one complete piece so that you can cut it into strips later.
  3. Cut sashimi and avocado into cubes and cucumber into thin strips. Chop the scallion into small pieces.
  4. Place the sashimi into a mixing bowl and sprinkle salt over it. Add in scallion, soy sauce, rice vinegar and sesame oil. Mix well.
  5. Once the rice is ready, place rice into bowls and carefully arrange the ingredients (edamame, cucumber, limu, avocado, omelette and sashimi) on top of the rice. Depending on personal preference on level of saltiness, pour the seasoning over the ingredients. Sprinkle some bonito flakes and furikake over it and serve.
