Instructions to make Meat Loaf Roll Florentine:
  1. Add butter and onions to frying pan. Sweat onions on low heat until they begin to turn brown. Add spinach, cover and cook until nicely wilted. Put spinach in a colander in the sink to remove any water and to let cool. In a bowl, add meats, eggs, crushed Ritz, sage, Italian seasoning, salt & pepper. Mix thoroughly. Spoon the mixture on a long sheet of foil that has been sprayed with oil. Pat it out into a 10 X 8 Oblong. Layer the cheese evenly over the meat layer. Then layer the drained spinach evenly On top. Gently lift one side of the foil, keep lifting to roll the meat over the filling until the roll is complete. Pat the sides to make them an even thickness with the center. Pick up both sides of the foil and place in a loaf pan or small casserole dish ( seam side of the mea should rest on the bottom of the pan). Cut off excess foil but leave enough so that you can lift you loaf out of the pan. Bake in the center of the oven for 45 min @ 350 or until just cooked through.
  2. This recipe can be changed by using different meats and cheeses. I use whole wheat Ritz. Breadcrumbs would be a perfectly good substitution for the crackers as well.

Eating 14 Superfoods Is A Great Way To Go Green For Better Health

Learning to slow down and enjoy your life is one facet of adopting a green lifestyle that a lot of folks appreciate. It is possible to do this, even in this busy world we are living in. We need to take a step back and prevent diseases before they happen. Alas, majority of people don’t trouble themselves about their health because they believe they can take a pill to fix the problem later on. It isn’t possible to turn around without hearing about the current pill to cure you of your health problems. Definitely, you may get better by taking a pill but not if you continue the same old negative habits. Unlike purchasing a new car, you won’t be able to exchange your worn out body for a new one. You must learn how to take care of your body before it is too late. Your body cannot function correctly if it does not have adequate nutrition.

When you put food into your mouth, do you pay attention to the nutritional value or simply eat anything tastes good at the time? How often do you eat mini mart junk food, or greasy fried foods from the local fast food joints? With all of the sugar-laden starchy and high fat food that virtually all people consume, it’s not surprising that new diseases are regularly occurring. There is an epidemic of obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, and many others, possibly caused by the foods that are consumed. Many people are realizing the importance of their food choices and are becoming more conscious about their health. Lots of healthy food can now be being sold at your local health food store or farmer’s market.

These days, you can find an organic food section in nearly all grocery stores. This section is full of what are today acknowledged as superfoods. Superfoods is the name given to 14 specific foods that can retard or reverse certain serious illnesses. By eating these foods, your body will be uplifted to new heights in mental awareness, and perceptions. When you trade in the junk food for these super foods, you will be astonished at how healthy you will soon feel. By getting the proper nutrition, your body will function the way it is supposed to run. When this happens, it will allow your immune system to fight disease more efficiently.

You must include a number of superfoods in your diet daily. Foods such as beans and berries are great to start. Eat some green tea or spinach or broccoli. Add in whole cereals and nuts. Also, you should have yogurt, soy, pumpkins, oranges, and tomatoes, along with salmon and turkey. By eating these superfoods daily, you should get rid of any weight problems.

Green living equips you with a solid eating plan, with all of the right ingredients for better health. Your immune system will become stronger, and your body can potentially become disease free. Prepare for a healthy future by modifying your eating habits right now.
