  1. Take 1 (13.8 oz) can refrigerated pizza crust
  2. Make ready 5 cup water
  3. Prepare 1/3 cup baking soda
  4. Get 1 egg, beaten
  5. Prepare 2 tsp kosher salt
  6. Get 1 flour
  7. Take 1 jar Cheese Whiz or sauce of your choice for dipping

Instructions to make Easy Pretzel Knot Bites:
  1. Preheat oven to 450°.
  2. Line a baking sheet with either parchment paper or nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
  3. Unroll pizza dough on a lightly floured surface and cut dough into 2 or 3" strips.
  4. Take each strip and roll it into a 6" long rope. Tie each rope into a knot and set aside.
  5. Bring water and baking soda to boil. The baking soda in this recipe reacts with the dough making it soft and chewier like real pretzels.
  6. Drop the dough knots about 5 or 6 at a time into the boiling water. Cook them quickly for about 30 to 45 seconds until they look slightly puffy. They should float on the waters surface when they are done.
  7. Remove the knots from the water and transfer to your prepared baking sheet. Space the knots so that they are at least 1/2" apart.
  8. Brush each knot with the beaten egg and sprinkle generously with the kosher salt.
  9. Bake the knots for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Serve with heated Cheese Whiz or other sauce of choice. Enjoy!
