  2. Take 150 ml Soy milk
  3. Get 1/2 bean Vanilla beans (or vanilla extract)
  4. Prepare 2 tbsp Beet sugar
  5. Prepare 1 tsp Kudzu starch (or katakuriko)
  6. Get 1 tsp Vegetable oil (I use refined sesame oil)

  1. Take the bread crusts that you've saved up out of the freezer, and shred off bite-sized pieces into a bowl. (Do this while they are still frozen.)
  2. Add the beet sugar, kudzu powder, vanilla bean, and soy milk, in that order, and dissolve the kudzu powder.
  3. Coat a frying pan with oil, pour in the batter, cover with a lid. After the underside is cooked, flip it over, and cook for an additional 5 minutes without the lid, and it's done. These are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, making them really tasty.
